The APC AP7721 Rack Automatic Transfer Switch is engineered for data centres, server racks and network closets where uninterrupted power supply is crucial. It features dual input power sources, allowing equipment to stay powered if one AC supply fails—the switch automatically and instantly transfers loads from the preferred source to the alternate without interruption. Configured for 230 V at 10 A (also supports 208 V at 12 A) inputs, it includes twelve IEC 320-C13 outputs to supply multiple devices, and two IEC 320-C14 inputs for incoming power lines. The unit mounts in a standard 1 U rack space, making it practical for tightly scaled deployments. Through its built-in network interface it supports remote monitoring, SNMP, Telnet or Web-based configuration for voltage, alert thresholds and source prioritisation. The AP7721 also provides local current monitoring, alerting when the connected load approaches its limit, thereby preventing overloads and enhancing reliability. With its robust build and flexible management features, it is well-suited for mission-critical environments where power continuity and control matter.
